Cosy Club Christmas Menu 2019 – It’s Christmaaaaas!

We were recently invited to check out the Cosy Club Christmas Menu 2019, and we cannot wait to tell you all about it! We were wined and dined for the evening, along with other lovely bloggers, so read on to see what we thought…

Cosy Club Christmas Menu 2019

We love a good ‘Christmas Do’, don’t you?! It’s a time to let your hair down and enjoy yourself, whilst also eating scrummy food and hanging out with fab people.

Cosy Club restaurants are just so wonderful, and they lend themselves to the Christmas season with their gorgeous warm textiles and vintage chic vibe.

We were shown to our table by some lovely staff and given a menu with a large selection of choices. We even had the chance to sample their gorgeous mulled wine, which is £3.95 per person.

The food options are are varied, so there is literally something for everyone. The meal starts with sharing platters as follows:

Vegan selection:

  • Roast Spiced Beetroot
  • Cosy Festive Flatbread
  • Truffled Garlic Mushrooms

Normal selection:

  • Slow Cooked Beef Brisket
  • Mini Hot Smoked Salmon Fishcakes
  • Baked Camembert
  • Cosy Festive Flatbread
  • Mini Gloucester Old Spot Sausages
  • Roast Spiced Beetroot

Zoey adored the beef whilst I was quite taken by the flatbread (it had sweet potato on it!). I think it would be fab if you could just pick one starter to have to yourself, but then it’s also nice to share and try a bit of everything.

For the mains, the options were as follows:

  • Balsamic Roasted Beetroot & Thyme Tarte Tatin (vegan)
  • Norfolk Turkey & Smoked Bacon Pie
  • Pan-Fried Salmon Fillet (gluten free)
  • Slow-Roasted Pork Belly (gluten free)
  • West Country Cheddar & Leek Pie (vegetarian)
  • Confit Duck Leg (gluten free)

I went for the Roasted Beetroot Tarte Tatin and Zoey chose the Turkey and Bacon Pie. I really enjoyed the main, but it did feel like an overload of beetroot after the starter. The vegetables and gravy were also yummy, and I scoffed down the mash- sooooo good!

Zoey enjoyed her pie and veg, and she had extra gravy thanks to the attentive staff. We also sampled their gorgeous prosecco (£5.95) and tasted some delicious cocktails throughout.

For pudding there were lots of lovely options on the menu, including:

  • Traditional Christmas Pudding (vegetarian & gluten free)
  • English Cheese Selection (gluten free option available)
  • Chocolate & Cinder Toffee Cheesecake (gluten free option available)
  • Pimm’s & Strawberry Trifle (gluten free option available)
  • Baked Vanilla Cheesecake (gluten free and vegan)

I had the vegan option and Zoey tried the Chocolate cheesecake. Zoey found the cheesecake a little too rich, but the cheesecake was so good I cleared the plate!

There was such a good vibe in the restaurant and the menu covers all bases for all dietary requirements. They were very attentive to our needs and we were very sad when it came to an end.

The Christmas Menu is £28.95 for three courses and there are also lots of drinks options, such as buy 6 bottles, get a 7th free. Go check out their Christmas Menu (running 21st November – 24th December 2019).
