Create the Perfect Logo With Free Fonts
When it comes to creating logos, Zoey is an absolute legend. She creates the most beautiful logos, and she’s so modest about it. When I asked her to design a few more, she used her many talents to create some stunning logo designs for Our Transitional Life.
It’s super easy (for talented folk like Zoey) to create logos using free fonts. She used three different fonts (ChamilleDuo, Cinnamon Sticks and Dear Journal) and created three very different logos for our site. The first one is this rainbow themed logo using Chamille Duo, it represents the diversity we try to emulate and promote within our blog and circle of friends. The font had a flowing feel about it which Zoey thought would work well with a wavy, sea-like imagery in the background. It looks so bright and uplifting – perfect for our blog!

The second was designed using the Cinnamon Sticks font. Its bold yet characterful nature led Zoey to creating something with minimal background but punchy colours. The movement of the letters is emphasised by the fluttering of the petals. Doesn’t it look cute?

Zoey’s final logo design incorporated a paint splatter which she colour adjusted to fit in with the website colours. It features the font Dear Journal which is clean and curly! It seems to dance across the page as it is typed and shows professionalism and fun all at once. I really like this one, and it’s super close to the logo we actually use!

Making these designs shows how varied and interesting logos can be. Plus, having the opportunity to use free fonts is a huge bonus! It can be super expensive to pay someone to create a logo, and if you don’t like it then it can end up being a long process to get the perfect final design. Sometimes it’s better to do the design work yourself, and as long as you know what you’re doing, you can create logos much like the ones above.
I think Zoey has created three varied and beautiful designs. They’re logos anyone would be proud to have on their blog, and they didn’t take too much out of her daily schedule to create. In this busy world, being able to create something that’s visually stunning and quick is key. You could even use these free fonts to create favicons and other designs to go with your business or blog.
We hope you’ve enjoyed reading this post, and hopefully you’re able to use the free fonts to create the perfect designs for you. Zoey had a lot of fun designing these, and I think anyone with a little creative flair would easily create fabulous designs to match their business or blog.
